Job Description

The Role
A document controller is responsible for managing and organizing all project-related documents for a leading construction consultancy. This includes maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely distribution of documents, and implementing document control procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards. Key Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and maintain all project documents, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents. \xe2\x80\xa2 Create and maintain a document control system to ensure that all project documents are accurately recorded, distributed, and archived. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of all project documents before distribution. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate with project teams to ensure that all documents are submitted on time and in the correct format. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure that all project documents are properly labeled, filed, and stored in accordance with company standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor and track document revisions and maintain a log of all changes and updates. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide support to project teams by retrieving and distributing requested documents in a timely manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure that all project documents are in compliance with company policies and procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Train and assist project team members in document control procedures and systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with other departments to improve document control processes and procedures.

Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in document control, preferably in the construction industry. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent organizational and time management skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong attention to detail and accuracy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in using document management systems and software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of construction project management processes and procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently and in a team environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in English, both written and spoken. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. \xe2\x80\xa2 Competent user of Acconex or other document control system.
