The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all documentation related to the activities of the organization. This role ensures that all documents are accurate, complete, compliant with regulatory standards, and readily accessible for audit and operational purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Management:
Maintain and control all related documents in the organization
Record Keeping:
Ensure all documents are properly filed, stored electronically and physically, and easily retrievable for audits and inspections.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensure all documentation complies with relevant local and international regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers, customs authorities, and internal departments to facilitate the smooth flow of documentation.
Data Entry & Tracking:
Maintain accurate records of all the transactions
Reporting:
Prepare reports related to documentation status, discrepancies, and compliance issues as required.
Audit Support:
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring records are up-to-date.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline document management processes and implement best practices.
