2. Technical Documentation
Control and maintain:
Technical Data Sheets (TDS)
Approved Shop Drawings
As-Built Drawings
Specifications and Method Statements
Ensure documents comply with
project specifications, codes, and standards
.
3. Quality & Inspection Records
Manage QA-QC documents including:
Material Inspection Requests (MIR)
Work Inspection Requests (WIR)
Test Reports and Certificates
Calibration Certificates
Track submission, review, approval, and close-out status of all quality documents.
4. Safety & HSE Documentation
Control and archive:
HSE Plans
Risk Assessments
Method Statements (RAMS)
Safety Permits and Toolbox Talk Records
Ensure only
approved and current safety documents
are in circulation on site.
5. CoordinatioL & Communication
Coordinate with:
Engineering, QA-QC, HSE, and Construction teams
Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors
Ensure timely submission and distribution of documents as per project schedule.
6. Electronic & Hard Copy Control
Maintain both
electronic document management systems (EDMS)
and hard-copy files.
Ensure secure storage, easy retrieval, and proper archiving of records.
Prepare document transmittals and maintain transmittal logs.
7. Audits & Compliance
Support internal and external audits by providing controlled documentation.
Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
(if applicable).
Assist in project handover and final documentation close-out.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent preferred).
Certification in Document Control or Project Management is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum
2-3 years
experience as a Document Controller in a
contracting or construction company
.
Proven experience handling
technical, QA-QC, and HSE documents
.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in:
MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Document Management Systems (Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, or similar)
Strong understanding of construction documentation workflows.
Familiarity with engineering drawings and specifications.
