Job Summary:

SMH Interiors LLC is looking for a qualified and experienced Fitout Engineer with a valid Dubai Municipality (DM) G+1 license to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in supervising interior fitout projects across commercial and residential sectors in the UAE, with proven experience in handling all authority approvals, site coordination, and regulatory compliance. A valid UAE driving license is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage fitout works on-site in compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and project specifications. Review and validate architectural, MEP, and structural plans for fitout projects. Coordinate with all relevant authorities (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DDA, Trakhees, DEWA, etc.) for approvals, permits, and inspections. Ensure that all work complies with UAE Fire & Life Safety Codes, Green Building Regulations, and other applicable standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety. Prepare and submit technical documents including NOCs, inspection requests, and completion certificates. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery. Resolve on-site technical issues and ensure DM compliance throughout all phases. Attend authority inspections and follow up for final clearances and approvals. Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering (mandatory) Valid Dubai Municipality G+1 License (mandatory) Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in fitout and interior projects supervision Strong knowledge of DM regulations, UAE building codes, and authority processes Experience in handling authority submissions for various approvals (DM, DCD, DDA, etc.) Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering software tools (preferred) Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory) English and Hindi language skills preferred

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
