Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using manual or industrial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, sinks, and surrounding workstations.
Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
Ensure all cleaned items are stored properly and ready for use.
Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
Follow health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
Support kitchen staff with additional tasks when required.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen environment preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when needed.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Skills Desired:
Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
Good time management and multitasking ability.
Willingness to learn and support the kitchen team.
