Title: Disc Jockey (DJ)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Disc Jockey (DJ) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a fun and energetic atmosphere for our guests through music and entertainment. The DJ will be responsible for selecting and playing music, taking requests, and engaging with the crowd to ensure a memorable and exciting event.
Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain DJ equipment, including speakers, turntables, and microphones
Select and play music appropriate for the event and the audience, including taking requests
Mix songs seamlessly and create a high-energy atmosphere
Make announcements, interact with the crowd, and engage guests to ensure a fun and memorable event
Coordinate with event planners and other staff members to ensure the event runs smoothly
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order
Adhere to all company and legal regulations, including music licensing and copyright laws
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Disc Jockey (DJ) or in a similar role
Extensive knowledge of different genres of music and mixing techniques
Strong technical skills in the use of DJ equipment, including software and hardware
Ability to engage with a crowd, take requests, and make announcements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in the event schedule or program
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of music licensing and copyright laws
High school diploma or equivalent
