About the Role

Responsible for establishing and executing successful trade-channel and MICE sales strategies for China, Airlines and marketing partnerships to achieve or exceed room night targets for Kerzner International.
Manage Greater China, Taiwan and Korea geographic territory.
Maximise sales, grow business share and ensure all resorts within the Kerzner portfolio maintain the highest level of professional profile throughout the industry in mainland China.
Duties include, but are not limited to, managing relationships and maximizing commercial opportunities with key trade partners, prospecting new accounts and seeking relationships with like-minded brands outside the travel sector (e.g. retail, fashion, automobile).

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Executes the commercial planning and cooperative marketing with wholesale and travel agencies accounts for Kerzner International.
  • Maximising revenue opportunities and driving share from key accounts for Kerzner brands.
  • Achieves revenue goals for all Kerzner hotels.
  • Initiating tactical promotions and initiatives to drive sales to Kerzner International.
  • Timely deployment of integrated seasonal campaigns across communications, social, traditional and sales channels.
  • Taking the lead in developing programs to ensure product knowledge updates for all contact points: Product manager, reservations agents, and counter staff.
  • Implementing incentives and driving Global Rewards programs to increase sales for Kerzner International.
  • Responsible for implementing and executing sales strategy and achieving room night goals for all Kerzner brands.
  • Leads the innovation and new concept development for China, Taiwan & Korea markets.
  • Manages all day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.
  • Build brand equity across all Kerzner brands through developed sales and supporting marketing, PR and social media strategies.
  • Timely and efficient management of Salesforce entries
  • Conducts Monthly Business Review Meetings with all Kerzner resorts\' DOSMs and sales teams - 2 ways communication established and recorded monthly, for all strategies implemented according to Commercial Plan.
  • Focus on direct business strategies and trade distribution sales strategies and outcomes.
  • Works with on-property sales leaders to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy per each segment and territory.
  • Product knowledge of all Kerzner brands and understanding of competitive markets.
  • Develops, implements and sustains aggressive solicitation programs focused on increasing business.
  • Works collaboratively with on-property sales channels to ensure the property needs are being achieved and the sales efforts are complementary, not duplicative.
  • Attends customer events, trade shows and sales missions to maintain, build and develop key relationships with customers. Undertake travel domestically and regionally as required.
  • Sales - optimise sales relationships to ensure the on target achievement of Kerzner and outbound rooms nights.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience related to Sales in acknowledged resorts and hotels
  • Minimum of undergraduate education
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Management reporting skills
  • Strong Communication Skills (written, verbal and formal presentation style)
  • Strong Microsoft Office, Salesforce and PowerPoint skills
  • Speaks Mandarin and English Fluently is a must
