PURPOSE/MISSION
This role is responsible to drive operational excellence and establish a winning culture within the function. Use the knowledge and experience to engage and empower direct and indirect teams so that the functional goals are delivered. Ensure that systems and resources are made available for the teams to perform at the highest level. Create clarity and operate with confidence and cross-functional collaboration. Influence and challenge stakeholders and partner. Look for best practices withing and outside organization and improvise the execution. With all these practices, ensure that the targeted audience are enables and empowered to achieve the business goals through training and development and specific HR initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional.
Sales Academy: 50%; Retail HR & Talent Initiatives: 40%; DTC Operations' Initiatives: 10%
Embed and live up to a People First mentality
Translating company strategic goals in team-specific actions and business plans. Control and monitor performance and results
Direct or indirect management and engagement of team of functional experts
Effective allocation and managing of time and resources to deliver results
Inspire & promote a high-performance culture with the teams by setting clear expectations, holding employees accountable, creating an effective and efficient work environment, and setting goals that focus the team on key drivers that impact success.
Identify and manage learning and HR projects that impacts business and consumer experiences positively
Lead end-to-end learning process from need analysis to evaluation and improvisation
Drive consistent implementation of learning programs & processes across clusters and channels to establish a culture of learning and continuous personal development
Set Sales Academy program deployment and delivery standards and guidelines to ensure consistent delivery of programs to the desired result and impact; aligned with key stakeholders
Provide feedback and consultancy on programs execution upstream to GSA and downstream to clusters
Carry out analysis and suggest priorities for HR & Talent focused initiatives along with HRBP for Retail & Field Leadership teams
Lead and own the People Pillar within the DTC Strategy working along with the Market Talent & HR teams
Take ownership for Talent Management processes to grow, develop and retain talents
Develop the functional teams to establish a team of best-in-class talent and create a succession pipeline
Support Market Operation's teams for execution of Operations, Omnichannel and Digital initiatives
Manage and optimize the training budget

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
Functional: > 10-12 years in Sales / Retail Training; > 2 years' experience in Sales / Retail operations or service and selling
Industry: ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG
Leadership: > 5 years as People manager; multi markets/global experience > 3 years
Exposure: Sports, Human Resources, Talent, Instructional Design, Content & Program Development
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
:
University degree in human resources
Training relevant certifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Digital mindset & ability to maximize on the available tools and resources
Strong verbal and written communication abilities with fluency in English
Critical analysis and decision making
