Job Description

The Director of Rental Management, Private Homes is responsible for the management of Rental Programs at all Kerzner Branded Residential and Private Homes properties. These responsibilities include preparing the overall strategy for Kerzner's rental programs, business development, implementation, and seamless integration at the properties with ongoing oversight and management of the Rental program performance, with a high degree of cross functional engagement. The Director of Rental Management, Private Homes will be a thought leader and have a background in luxury hospitality and rental programs, with the necessary internal and external experience to develop the Rental business to maximize its full potential and meet the companies' expectations and requirements for the continual growth of Kerzner International's Branded Residences and Private Homes business. Rental Program Business Responsibilities Undertake initial analysis of current rental program structure and performance with all key stakeholders. Prepare 3-year Private Homes strategic business plan with the objective to become the leading rental program in each competitive set across Kerzner brands. Responsible for rental program strategy, implementation, execution, coordination, and performance oversight at property level. Ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met with a necessary understanding of jurisdictional nuances. High degree of both corporate and property level cross functionality necessary to be effective in the role Stay up-to-date on industry trends and local market conditions. Works closely with Kerzner developer partners to ensure the rental program model is understood and communicated concisely, extending to developers Private Homes sales.

Rental Program Operations Management Responsible for Private Homes Rental management including operational requirements, training, implementation of standards and policies ensuring seamless integration with property teams. Establish property rental program policies, procedures and regulations, implement to enable and ensure the effective delivery of brand standards consistent with Kerzner resort standards. Advises General Managers, Director of Private Homes & Rental, other Excom and property colleagues on Private Homes operational, rental model and rental execution. Communicates with owners/developers/other partners on rental program structure, training, and education. Oversees the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of both Kerzner Homeowners and rental program guests to ensure "amazing experiences and everlasting memories" for all. Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, homeowner and guest reviews, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed. Intervenes in any Homeowner/guest/employee situation as needed to ensure the integrity of the property and rental is maintained, guest satisfaction is achieved, and employee wellbeing is preserved. Ensures Financial Reconciliation and homeowner reporting in place of guests stays and Homeowner revenue sharing at each property.

Rental Program Performance Establish key performance metrics to effectively analyze performance at the individual property level and consolidated across the portfolio. Undertakes regular property quality inspections and ensures an effective inspection system is in place and consistent with resort standards. and makes appropriate recommendation for capital upgrades to the Private Homes FF&E packages accordingly. Maintain a high level of communication with the property owner/developer, keeping them updated on the condition of their rental and any necessary repairs or improvements Prepare and distribute accurate monthly performance reports Communication Internal - Corporate Head Office, Property teams including General Managers and Directors of Private Homes & Rental. External - Kerzner Homeowners, Developer partners, Sales teams, Brokers and Agencies, Industry consultants

Education or Certification Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field 3+ years' experience in vacation rental management, hotel operations, or a related role Strong leadership skills and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation software programs Must be fluent in verbal and written English Excellent computer literacy required. Microsoft Office proficiency (incl Excel)
