The Director of Operations will lead the Central Contracting Department in Dubai, with overall responsibility for back-office operations and cross-border coordination across POs in Dubai, Turkiye, the UK, Africa, and India. The role includes serving as a Board Member for the Dubai entities and the entities in the UK and India, with accountability for centralized client onboarding decisions, contractual and regulatory compliance, and governance oversight. The Director will align and manage international finance and operations teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and seamless global operations.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and synchronize all functions within the Central Contracting Department Dubai, including the Finance back office, compliance and HR teams.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure the back office scales efficiently with the growth of international POs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for POs in Dubai, Turkiye, UK, Africa, and India, ensuring operational alignment and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Work with the Finance team to maintain fiscal integrity and smooth cash-flow operations across jurisdictions.
  • Review and make final decisions for all client onboardings across the specified regions.
  • Execute and sign client agreements, ensuring all terms align with company risk appetite and legal standards.
  • Establish a system to ensure compliance in securing and archiving signed copies of all client agreements and regional contracts.
  • Assume Board Member seats for all Dubai-based entities, as well as our legal entities in the UK and India.
  • Represent the company's interests in board meetings, providing operational insights and ensuring statutory compliance in each respective country.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years in operations management, preferably within a multinational contracting, legal, or financial services environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Finance, or Law (LLB).
  • Proven experience navigating the regulatory and business landscapes of the UAE, UK, and India.
  • Strong understanding of back-office finance functions and the ability to interface effectively with senior Finance Managers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Proficient level of English - superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Global mindset - flexibility to travel and manage operations across diverse regulatory environments.
  • Able to translate complex operational needs into clear directives for regional POs.
