POSITION PURPOSE The Director of Music will be responsible for designing and implementing a diverse and engaging music program that aligns with the club\'s ambiance, enhances member satisfaction, and contributes to the overall atmosphere of exclusivity and sophistication. He/she will deliver the highest possible standards of service and contentment and be pro-active in maintaining and driving revenue and brand image.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DAILY DUTIES Music Curation:
- Shape and develop the music and audio experience of The Arts Club Dubai, ensuring a diverse and high-quality lineup of live performances and DJ sets across five venues.
- Develop and maintain playlists, including selecting artists, bands, and DJs that align with the club\'s music schedules for various areas, including dining spaces, lounges, and special events.
- Stay abreast of current music trends and emerging artists to ensure the club\'s music program remains fresh and innovative.
- Oversee entertainment permit applications for the club, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Plan and organise live music performances, including solo artists, bands, DJs, and other entertainment acts.
- Collaborate with the Cultural Programming Team and Marketing Team to create themed music events that enhance member engagement and attract new clientele.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with performers, ensuring high-quality performances that align with the club\'s standards.
- Curate the lineup of members\' events, including special activations such as Valentine\'s Day and Thanksgiving, ensuring relevant and engaging entertainment.
- Oversee entertainment permit applications for the club, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of sound systems and audiovisual equipment throughout the club.
- Work closely with AV Supervisor to ensure optimal sound quality and performance during live music events and regular operations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to sound and audiovisual equipment as needed.
- Assist teams in providing entertainment for various club activations, collaborating with departments to enhance member experiences.
- Solicit feedback from club members regarding their musical preferences and incorporate suggestions into the music program.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where members feel valued and appreciated through the club\'s music offerings.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate music into member experiences, such as themed dining events, wellness activities, and private functions.
- Develop and manage the music department budget, including expenses related to music licensing, performer fees, equipment purchases, and maintenance.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities to optimize spending while maintaining the quality and integrity of the music program.
- Manage artist booking, negotiating fees, coordinating contract signatures, and overseeing artist advancing, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation
