We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Director of Supermarket

to lead, develop, and drive the operational, financial, and strategic performance of our supermarket chain. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing multiple store locations, ensuring excellence in customer service, operational efficiency, financial profitability, and the execution of company-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and market share. Provide leadership and direction to regional/store managers, department heads, and key staff. Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure alignment with company goals and compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards. Analyze sales reports, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Establish and manage budgets, P&L performance, cost controls, and inventory levels. Develop and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. Lead talent development efforts, including recruitment, training, succession planning, and performance management. Drive high standards of customer satisfaction and in-store experience. Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams on promotions, layout optimization, and product placement. Monitor KPIs and ensure the achievement of operational targets across all stores. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in retail or supermarket operations, with at least 5 years at a senior/executive level. Proven track record of driving operational performance and delivering financial results. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with multi-site management in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Deep understanding of retail operations, supply chain, merchandising, and compliance. High proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and retail management software.
