Job Description

Scope: Supports to General Manager in his assignment and assures that set objectives are understood and implemented in he operation. Provides positive leadership to all people within the Food & Beverage Department. Recognizing that productivity and customer satisfaction are best achieved via a positive workforce; it is expected that recruitment, training, motivation, working conditions, internal communications, quality control, employee empowerment and staff recognition will be managed in a manner to insure a positive and productive staff. Acts as a positive, contributing member within the hotel's management - encouraging communication, cooperation and assistance among all staff. Develops a comprehensive business plan for the Food & Beverage Department. To report and explain to outlet managers financial objectives and actual results on a ongoing basis. Controls and analyses permanently: Quality levels of production and presentation, guest satisfaction, merchandising, operating, payroll and food cost, cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene. In collaboration with the Executive Chef, he ensures all preparation of food is done according to our recipes and presentation standards. Assures that, standards of quality and procedures established for the Food & Beverage Department are understood and implemented in all food and beverage outlets and departments. Supports the General Manager in insuring that professional development opportunities are made available to members of the F&B management group whether in the form of "cross training", "special courses" advancement and promotion, or in some other form. Ensures that, high standards of professional conduct and ethics are adhered to by yourself and your staff in dealing with colleagues, employees, customers, vendors, contractors and the community in which the hotel is located. Work Experience

.Minimum 2 years' experience as a Director of F&B or 3 years as a F&B Manager in a luxury hotel environment. .Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance. .Fluent in English both written and spoken. Good command in other language(s) would be a plus. Completed a bachelor's degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management or any related courses.
