Director of Finance
Job Summary:
The Director of Finance is the senior financial leader responsible for all aspects of the property's financial health and integrity. This includes accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and cash flow management. The Director of Finance provides strategic financial guidance to the General Manager and ownership.
Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership: Oversee the entire accounting department and all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting updates, providing analysis and insights to department heads.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain a strong system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment activities.
• Strategic Advisor: Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, capital investments, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA highly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Thorough knowledge of hospitality accounting software (e.g., Oracle Opera, MS Dynamics) and GAAP.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
