Position Overview
La Maison Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems is seeking an accomplished Director of E-Commerce to lead its digital commerce strategy across the IMEAT region from its Dubai base. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving online revenue growth, optimizing digital performance, and ensuring that all hotels under Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, MGallery, and Emblems achieve best-in-class visibility and conversion across all online platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the regional e-commerce strategy across 42 hotels and 11,000 rooms in the IMEAT region.
• Develop and implement both B2C and B2B distribution strategies in alignment with global objectives.
• Drive online revenue performance and ensure annual targets are met or exceeded.
• Oversee and support hotel-level E-Commerce Directors to ensure consistency, best practices, and performance optimization.
• Manage direct and indirect online channels, including brand.com, ALL.com, loyalty platforms, OTAs, metasearch, and GDS.
• Collaborate with digital marketing and global brand teams to enhance visibility, traffic, and conversion.
• Audit and report on the deployment, results, and ROI of distribution initiatives.
• Develop commercial action plans to grow market share, profitability, and brand presence.
• Ensure rate parity, competitive positioning, and content excellence across all digital touchpoints.
• Coach, train, and empower hotel teams to enhance their online distribution and digital marketing capabilities.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in e-commerce leadership roles, preferably within hospitality or luxury sectors.
• Proven record of managing multi-brand or multi-property digital strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business growth plans.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration abilities.
