Director Account Management - Dubai Private Label Solution (PLS) operates in the ever-evolving online travel market, and we are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team in the IAMET region (India, Africa, Middle East, and Turkey). As the leader of a team of account directors and managers, you will be responsible for coaching and developing your team to deliver exceptional results. Key Role Responsibilities: People Leadership: The successful candidate will lead a team of 5 people located in India and UAE. Based on PLS\xe2\x80\x99s strategic plan, the candidate will define "success" with the team and support them in achieving that ambition. The candidate will develop and continue to grow, improve, and challenge a strong and motivated account management team, including leading business and skill-based training, ensuring delivery of our business objectives and financial targets with the team. The role will also involve conducting regular 121 coaching sessions with the team to identify competencies that can be improved, agree on a professional development plan, and support them in achieving their potential. Sales Negotiation: As the leader of our account management team in the APAC region, you will be responsible for owning and leading the sales process to enhance our existing partnerships, including up-selling products and services, and optimizing sales. Your goal will be to build strong, long-term, strategic relationships with our partners, which will be formalized in enduring contractual agreements. You will leverage your exceptional communication, sales, and negotiation skills to drive results and exceed targets. Internal Relationship Management: The candidate will be working closely with department leads, including product, analytics, finance, and strategy, to articulate the needs of the partner and foster a collaborative approach across the broader PLS business. Requirements: The ideal candidate must possess strong and passionate people leadership skills, in addition to a consistent track record in successfully managing key accounts in a B2B environment. While experience within the travel technology/distribution industry is advantageous, it is not essential. Most importantly the candidate must have a proven track record in building, growing, and developing high-performing teams, along with exceptional communication, sales, and negotiation skills. Being highly analytical and having the ability to use data to identify underlying trends and make informed commercial decisions is a must. They must also demonstrate the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders to exceed sales targets and meet revenue objectives. Strong numerical and problem-solving skills, adaptability to a rapidly changing environment, a solution-based approach to sales with a good understanding of technology, and strong customer focus and relationship-building skills are all necessary. The candidate must have proven experience in influencing multiple stakeholders to get things done, managing across markets, and being prepared to travel up to 30% of the time. A university degree is a must, with an MBA being a plus. Fluency in English is necessary, with proficiency in a second language being an advantage (Arabic, Turkish or French).
