Job Description
Mark Williams is currently working with a prestigious UAE Government Entity. We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting professional with a strong experience dealing with Oracle Systems.
The role:
- Oversee Oracle financial modules, the closing process, reporting and implementation.
- Develop and maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems
- Maintaining the general ledger system
- Review monthly prepaid and fixed asset roll forwards and related schedules
- Assist with the quarterly review and annual audit
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Researching accounting issues for compliance with IPSAS
Requirements:
- As per client request a UAE National with family book is preferred
- Bachelors\' Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
- 10+ years experience working within a UAE Government Entity
- Strong experience in Accounting/ Financial Audit
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
