Overview:
Looking for a Director - Delivery and Services to lead the development and delivery of all programs & engagements at G42 Cloud, balancing commercial & operational elements, achieving revenue growth & recognition, and cost effectively meeting customer requirements.

The opportunity
The Delivery and Service Director role assesses, reviews and identifies the internal G42 cloud setup vs. the client's operational structures, processes, key risk areas, amongst others and oversees the orchestration of adequate and relevant transformation program from a delivery perspective working closely with the VP Business operations, the solution teams and cloud ops.

You will lead and develop strategies for cloud service delivery by collaborating with internal & external stakeholders, and ensuring delivery of the highest quality products & services that meet both current and evolving customer needs.
  • Aligning customer internal delivery operations to the transformation journey thru PMO and TMO processes.
  • Actively participating in governance calls with the clients for effective process management and alignment on the transformation journey
  • Managing Client relationships in as much as it relates to the transformation journey as part of the initial phase of the engagement
  • Driving effective transformational changes by successful co-ordination, advisory, orchestration, release management and stakeholder management for all domain related activities
  • Working closely with the delivery, transformation and project Teams to assist in managing and nurturing client relationships with the key stakeholders for the specific domain
  • Reviewing and understanding routinely IT operations and service delivery processes, SOP and other integration related activities
  • Reviewing customers' future plan and capacity planning to meet business growth.
  • Develop the professional services team and work with client stakeholders for specific domains and understand operational drivers in underlying operations teams, processes, and infrastructure, to assess continuous improvements across the supporting teams with a view to forecast customer contract/statement of work, Service Level Agreements, and Operating Level Agreements and compliance requirements.
  • Developing and nurturing excellent client relationships at the management and as appropriate operational levels supporting the delivery and Project Management team in establishing the customers/clients as reference Accounts and supporting growth opportunities in the specific domain of Applications.
  • Promoting Customer/client satisfaction through efficient, effective assessment of operational requirements vis-a-vis transformational component delivery and proactively managing issues that could impact service delivery.
  • Assessing customer feedback and drive and assist in driving necessary improvements.
  • Providing an effective team play or interaction with the BDs, SAs and Project Managers and attend customer meetings as required, provide updates as required for the specific domain of Applications.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art, best-in-class tools, techniques, and methods to deliver service delivery management related presentations to peers, leadership team, executives and operation teams
  • Setup S&D team based on yearly pipeline/targets, coordinate with HR make sure resource onboard to satisfy project requirements;
  • Staff capability improvement by training, certification & practice in projects;
  • Plan and allocate adequate resource into delivery or maintenance project; Manage resource reasonable utilization and efficiency;
  • From process perspective - Early engage in projects analysis & planning phase to make proper delivery strategy, identify risks and make avoidance/mitigation plan;
  • Cyber Security & Data Protection rules build up within S&D teams;
  • Proven exposure to big sourcing or outsourcing strategies for big organizations.
  • Understanding the full cycle of procurement activities.
  • Experience in contract management and contract quality improvement would be an advantage.
Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, technology and other related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Project Service and Delivery with at least 10 years in leadership roles in the technology industry.
  • Deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, capabilities and solutions that generate partner growth and innovation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, multi-million projects with multiple concurrent teams is required.
  • Client interfacing experience and strong partner relationship management skills.

Ideally, you'll also need
  • International experience covering a region or territory is ideal
