The Director role will be a member of Visa\'s CEMEA Corporate Strategy team. The team plays a key role in shaping Visa\'s long-term strategy and solving enterprise-level questions and challenges, often partnering with executives and business leaders across Visa\'s organization. Recent initiatives have addressed such topics as go-to-market strategy, product strategy, and partnership/acquisition opportunities - many of which have been internationally focused. The team is also responsible for developing competitive intelligence and thought leadership on emerging trends in payments and technology. The position will be based at Visa\'s CEMEA headquarters in Dubai.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Independently lead and design strategies that build strong sustainable competitive advantage and generate tangible impact on Visa\'s performance
Breakdown complex business problems, define a structured approach to addressing the component parts, independently formulate hypotheses and supporting project worksteps
Drive deep quantitative and qualitative analytical insight bringing a fresh and differentiated perspective, and supporting proposed recommendations
Drive thought leadership with creative, novel, disruptive, but highly practical and implementable solutions to the challenges faced by business owners
Ensure strategies and execution programs developed drive tangible commercial impact, secure active stakeholder buy-in and provide a clear actionable path to implementation
Develop frameworks that support the prioritization of strategic initiatives, and evaluate investment opportunities for their strategic and financial value.
Develop clear, simple and impactful executive level communications, with a strong ability to persuade and influence senior decision makers
Demonstrate outstanding people skills including coaching and inspiring team members, supporting colleagues and acting as a magnet for future top talent to the strategy team
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience required
+10 years of relevant industry or management consulting experience required
Strong payments industry experience preferred
