This is a challenging but fulfilling role, where you will be required to operate as a key member of our team, helping develop our finance transformation client offerings, developing the team around you, and contributing to the strategic growth and development of the Business Consulting and Business Advisory Services.

What you\'ll be doing:

The Director plays a key role in business development, client management, team management and practice development.
  • Lead and support on business development activity, including assisting partners throughout the entire sales cycle: client relationship building, opportunity creation/identification, opportunity qualification, proposals, statements of work, oral presentations, developing project approaches, resource models, and pricing estimates.
  • Develop the Go To Market, commercial proposition, offerings and strategic plan around developing our finance transformation and CFO advisory offering
  • Develop and upskill the team and build finance transformation into a core offering covering 20%+ of overall consulting revenues
  • Contribute towards a financial target which covers winning work, and managing projects successfully
  • Develop your internal & external network, raising awareness about the team\'s capabilities, success stories, and client base, identify business development or cross-selling opportunities
  • Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services
  • Lead and manage a team of consultants to deliver successful project outcomes, in line with the targets and KPIs appropriate for your role
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and rigour
  • Manage, motivate, develop, train, coach and mentor staff on projects while embedding and supporting a feedback focused culture
  • Help define and embed the culture we need to continue growing the team in the right way
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and insights, and support the team in doing the same
  • Support core internal responsibilities, which may include recruitment, thought leadership, financial management, performance management and quality related activities
  • Other duties as assigned
Who we\'re looking for:
  • You have a minimum of 10+ years of management consulting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior manager / director role or equivalent, from a consulting firm
  • You possess a proven track record of selling and delivering successful finance transformation projects for clients, demonstrating an ability to drive results, add value, and delight our clients
  • Your experience to date covers a mix of finance assessments, transformation planning and delivery, shared services, systems, process, policy and people related activity, demonstrating you can operate across any element of a finance function operating model
  • You have strong analytical, commercial and problem solving skills with the ability to assess and de-mystify complex situations with ease
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken, English required, Arabic is a bonus), with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and other parts of our firm
  • You are considered to be a strategic thinker with a strong business/commercial acumen, who can operate at the \xe2\x80\x98big picture\' level but also be \xe2\x80\x98hands-on\' in client delivery
  • You innately have a commitment to mentoring and coaching junior team members, with a passion for developing others
  • You are comfortable working under pressure, in a demanding environment and to tight deadlines, delivering results
  • You have industry / sector expertise across a variety of industries
  • You understand the consulting and project delivery lifecycle, its requirements, and actively embed this in teams around you
  • You understand the regional market, nuances and dynamics, and how it differs to other markets, and can thrive in this environment
  • You have a strong ambition to develop your areas of business and become a partner in the firm
