Job Description

- Inspect and assess small size loose diamonds to determine their quality, including color, clarity, cut, and carat weight.
- Classify diamonds according to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Use specialized equipment such as microscopes, loupes, and measuring tools to accurately evaluate diamonds.
- Identify and report any imperfections, flaws, or irregularities in diamonds.
- Organize and maintain an inventory of diamonds, ensuring accurate records are kept.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and accurate diamond assessments.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while handling diamonds.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace to uphold the integrity of the diamonds.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Diamond Assorter, with a focus on color stone ,all size loose diamonds.
- In-depth knowledge of diamond grading standards, including the 4Cs (cut, color, clarity, carat weight).
- Familiarity with gemological equipment such as microscopes, loupes, and diamond scales.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot minute differences in diamonds.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Integrity and respect for the confidentiality of diamond grading information.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
