Job Description

Job Purpose
The Digital Systems Engineer plays a critical role within the Digital team by developing, integrating, and supporting internal systems and automation workflows. This role ensures seamless interoperability between platforms such as Jira, Azure, AWS and other core tools, supporting process efficiency, platform reliability, and secure data exchange. The engineer also contributes to continuous improvement efforts across digital operations.

Systems Integration

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure system integrations and data flows between internal platforms such as Jira, Salesforce or Azure AD.
  • Build and manage automation workflows using APIs, scripts, or low-code/no-code tools.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for digital systems, focusing on integrations, process issues, and platform performance.
  • Ensure high availability, data integrity, and security in all system interactions, aligned with ISO 27001 standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and streamline internal processes.
  • Manage and maintain scripts, serverless functions and custom apps hosted in Azure and AWS environments.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, integration architecture, and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Liaise with vendors and external IT partners as needed for support or enhancement work.
  • Participate in internal audits and compliance checks by maintaining proper documentation and controls.
  • Document integration processes and design specifications and provide training as necessary.
  • Continually evaluate and enhance integration strategies to improve efficiency, security, and performance.

Job Specification
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or any related field
Professional Certifications
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • AWS Certified Developer or Cloud Practitioner
  • Salesforce Administrator (optional)
Knowledge
  • System integration, REST APIs, CI/CD, and Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Project Management and ticketing tools, especially Jira
  • Cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)
