Responsibilities: - Design and conduct engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops that cover a range of digital marketing topics such as search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, online advertising, content marketing, and analytics - Stay up-to-date with current digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and cutting-edge - Mentor and guide students to help them develop practical skills in digital marketing through hands-on projects, case studies, and internships - Collaborate with other faculty members to continuously enhance the digital marketing program and contribute to the overall success of the department - Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations, to contribute to the field of digital marketing; - Maintaining adequate records of progress and evaluation for all students enrolled in classes assigned and submitting grades on dates indicated by the Registrar each semester (mid-semester and final); - Assisting the Department Head in evaluating course objectives and sequencing; - Maintaining set office hours during the semester \xe2\x80\x93 posting these and informing students; - Advising students and assisting in tracking \xe2\x80\x9cat risk\xe2\x80\x9d students with poor academic performance; - Reporting any needed repairs of equipment and any needed supplies; - Recommending to the Department Head the acquisition of reference materials for the department; - Developing new course(s) as requested by the Department Head or Dean; - Supervising, teaching and/or administering independent studies; - Keeping up-to-date on developments in one\xe2\x80\x99s discipline through participation in professional associations; - Advising students during the registration periods; - Attending faculty meetings and departmental meetings; - Attending orientation and professional development workshops; - Understanding the purpose and goals of the university and espousing them in the performance of their responsibilities; - Performing community outreach activities; - Serving as an ambassador to the University by promoting the institution when engaged in professional duties off campus.
