The Digital Learning Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing learning and fostering innovation, particularly within the STEM program, by providing expertise in digital resources, applications, and equipment. This role involves advising and guiding lesson planning to integrate appropriate digital tools and applications, ultimately improving engagement and facilitating effective teaching and learning. Additionally, the Digital Learning Coordinator fulfills teaching responsibilities. Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in digital resources, applications, and equipment to enhance learning and promote innovation, with a focus on the STEM program.
- Advise and guide lesson planning to incorporate suitable digital tools and applications, ensuring improved teaching and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with educators to identify opportunities for integrating digital technologies into curriculum delivery.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for staff on the effective use of digital tools and applications in teaching.
- Support the implementation and management of digital learning platforms and resources.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in educational technology and digital learning.
- Act as a liaison between the school and external stakeholders, such as technology vendors and industry partners.
- Assess the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives and recommend improvements as needed.
- Fulfill teaching responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall academic program of the school.
- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in IT, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in educational technology, digital learning, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of digital resources, applications, and equipment, with a focus on STEM education.
- Ability to advise and guide educators in integrating digital tools and applications into lesson planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels.
- Teaching experience and familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design principles.
- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated on technological advancements and best practices in digital learning.
- Dibba Al-Fujairah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
- Bachelor\'s (Required)
- Teaching in an US Curriculum: 4 years (Preferred)
- English (Required)
