Section II: ROLE PURPOSE:

To be the ultimate promoter of impactful design capabilities that bring user centered success to our customer facing digital touch points. The position will play a leading role in delivering comprehensive experiences across stc's digital ecosystem to build, improve & increase engagement and positive conversions. The lead Digital Innovation designer (UI/UX) will work closely with our product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into innovative and intuitive designs. Section III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES Core Responsibilities:

. Manages the design definition & creation of technical products or services to create the basis of the digital experience . Ability to develop bespoke user experiences based on functional requirements . Creation of user centric designs using software such as Adobe suite, figma, invision, sketch etc. . Transition technical requirements into user stories using prototyping techniques . Ability to create visually stunning and functional designs for web and mobile applications . Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and user needs . Ability to Consult around systems, architectures and functional scopes . Create and maintain a design system that promotes consistency, scalability, and reusability . Ensure that designs meet accessibility, usability, and performance standards . Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members . Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative design culture . Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies . Develop bespoke user experience designs based on individual client . Carry design and digital projects from concept to completion while adhering to strict brand standards and ensuring production timelines are met. . Ability to translate platform insights into coherent product proposals for the management . Ability to write specification documents pertaining to stakeholders requirements for developers, including information design architecture . Ability to track projects using Gantt charts, presentations, tools etc. and escalate where necessary . Ability to instinctively create mitigation and contingency plans for design projects that are not compatible due to unforeseen reasons . Ability to analyze analytics data to properly adjust, improve and build on design experiences. . Ability to breakdown digital requirements into coherent designs and summarize them into a plausible & presentable solution . Creation of work breakdown structures for line managers and directors . Ability to connect, liaise with departments and section heads with ideas, processes and feature enrichment using figma prototyping (or sim. Software) . Ability to handle being the focal point of contact for design project updates, tracking & change log . Ability to use digital testing kits and fully engage/comprehend UAT/FUT outcomes

Role Profile : . Proficient understanding in digital metrics and platform collaboration tools . Experience in design software (Adobe, Figma, Sketch etc.) . Experience in collaboration tools such as Atlassian, Slack, Invision, Jira. . Partial experience in CSS, html5 and its editor tools . Partial experience in JavaScript libraries and manipulation to meet design requirements . Proficient in digital data and webmaster tools . Significant and demonstrable product development experience in the area of digital design & workflows . High degree of literacy when it comes to design compatibility and digital products. . Ability to communicate complex solutions at high and micro levels . Experience in presenting innovative ideas using design stories and/or wireframes . Experience and ability to prioritize project deliverables and plan activities taking into consideration critical factors such as deadlines. . Ability to handle change management effectively .
