Job Title Digital Forensics Incident

Description

This role is client-facing and requires the DFIR manager to lead and produce deliverables based on reactive services client engagements. The DFIR manager will work directly with multiple customers and key stakeholders (Admins, CISO, IT, C-Suite, etc) to manage incident response engagements

Manage incident response engagements to scope work, lead and guide clients through forensic investigations, contain security incidents, and provide guidance on longer term remediation recommendations.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• 7+ years of previous experience working in Digital Forensics and Incident Response.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security or related field
• Certified in at least 3 of the following: GCFA, GNFA, GPEN, GWAPT, GSEC, GREM, GCFE
• Expert Knowledge with various EDR, NDR and SIEM vendors.
• Hands on experience with static and dynamic malware analysis, network forensics, advanced memory forensics and reverse engineering.
• Experience with various forensics tools such as (FTK, EnCase, X-Ways, F-Response, Magnet AXIOM, etc.)
• Solid knowledge and experience with security related logs, including network protocols, ports, and common services (HTTP/S, FTP, DNS, SMTP, Active Directory, SMB etc.)
• Experience in preservation of digital evidence (including experience preserving cloud data and handling encryption such as BitLocker, File Vault, and/or LUKS).
• Solid experience in developing security use cases to detect insider/cyber threat, abnormal activities.

Proficient programming skill sets to develop scripting tools.
