Job Responsibilities

The digital solutions development specialist for DevOps workflows designs the architectural integration, automation and orchestration across digital platforms and ecosystems using agile development methodologies. Working in hybrid digital infrastructure environments using infrastructure as code to enhance our service consumer experience across the value chain, that supports our GTM (Go to Market) service offerings to Injazat customers. Providing tools and knowledge to support growth and continuous improvement, whilst keeping up with industry best practices, trends, and standards, identifying opportunities to enhance agility, scalability, and flexibility of our digital platforms.

The digital solutions development specialist for DevOps Workflows will ensure availability, monitoring, performance, and lifecycle maintenance of our IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS) digital platform integration platforms and endpoints of the datasets from a GTM architecture perspective. Assist in developing and monitoring the integration points and data exchange across Injazat internal digital platforms, strategic cloud service providers like AWS (Amazon Web Services), Microsoft (Azure), Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud, G42 Cloud and Injazat hybrid multi-cloud services platform. Whilst providing guidance to the delivery organization around implementing, onboarding, and maintaining the CI/CD development environment including life cycle management.

The digital solutions development specialist for DevOps Workflows will collaborate in software development automation and integration across emerging technologies like AI, Machine Learning, the IOT and Cloud Computing.

Designing DevOps tools for build, version control, configuration management, project management, IT service management, customer service management, IT operations management, IT asset management, cloud management, network/security management to make software development an effective and efficient process.

Day to Day Operations

Lead and manage the GTM DevOps activities of the hybrid digital infrastructure team by collaborating across all team members.

Improve collaboration between DevOps/infrastructure, pre-sales, and post-sales teams.

Improve DevOps tools to automate, integrate and orchestrate the development and release process

Liaise with customers regarding pre-sales requirements, architecture design, and will have input into on-going service and solution GTM reviews.

Ensure all DevOps Workflow automation, integration and orchestration design patterns are architected in accordance with industry best practices and with Injazat's customers' expectations, together meeting both internal and external stakeholder expectations.

Set clear objectives, evaluate progress against objectives, and install performance-oriented culture with focus on accountability.

Contribute to the on-going development of DevOps function by sharing knowledge, experience, and expertise with other team leaders.

Provides an escalation level for design support, management, resolution, and communication as appropriate with Injazat partner ecosystem.

Ensure DevOps GTM deliverables are complete, consistent, high quality, on time and deliver valued outcomes.

Budgets and Plans

Recommend the budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget from a DevOps GTM perspective so that areas of underperformance are identified and opportunities to improve performance are capitalized upon.

Participate in staffing plans, recruiting, and hiring and other leadership planning.

People and Development

Drive digital DevOps workflow practice capability development

Be Jointly Responsible for advancing Injazat's DevOps partnerships, attainment of DevOps workflow service and solution competencies, and achievement of DevOps certifications.

Participate in efforts with vendors and partners on the development of best in-class DevOps operating model to meet Injazat's DevOps workflows GTM initiatives.

Lead the DevOps workflows GTM that connect people, functions, and systems with platform of platforms for digital business.

Safety, Quality & Environment

Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the section to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude

Policies, Processes & Procedures

Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.

Establish a management baseline by defining the criticality classifications, DevOps workflows management tools, and processes required to deliver Injazat and customer minimum commitment to operations management.

Expand the management baseline based on business commitments and operations decisions, make use of the included best practices to implement the required DevOps Workflows management tooling

Advanced operations and design principles for digital platforms or DevOps workloads that require a higher level of business commitment might require a deeper architecture review to deliver on resiliency and reliability commitments.

Recognize opportunities for improvements to procedures by pro-actively offering ideas and solutions.

Encouraging team input into procedures and practices - assisting them in developing their ideas.

Related Responsibilities:

Perform other related duties or assignments as directed:

Developing the integration, automation, and orchestration process as part of Injazat's Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Minimum Viable Service (MVS) for customers.

Providing a clear focus on DevOps tooling and quality and collaborating with the wider build and product teams on projects

Coaching and sharing knowledge of DevOps across the broader pre-sales and post-sales teams

Lead the DevOps GTM to support Injazat GTM service and solution offerings to accelerate our hybrid multi-cloud single pane of glass experience across the partner ecosystem.

Ownership of DevOps infrastructure systems and the introduction of new tools where appropriate

DevOps product specialist support and troubleshooting where needed to support hybrid digital infrastructure architecture integration, automation an orchestration.

Assisting with automated, integration and orchestration testing to ensure design assurance.

Leading and shaping the Pet Circles DevOps journey around specific use cases.

Play a key role in our existing projects (IaaC currently in flight, DevOps tooling)

Collaborating and working with pre-sales and post-sales teams to help ensure standards are maintained, problems are addressed, field issues are understood, and future states anticipated.

Validate customer DevOps requirements and oversee the DevOps GTM strategy within the business context

Assessing customer feedback by working across teams by using your creativity to establish, improve, to refine GTM services and solution offerings.

Determine ways to reduce costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction and assisting in improving onboarding, provisioning, billing, management, and monitoring capabilities

Building partnerships and liaising with team leaders to determine Injazat's DevOps criteria for issues that may arise.

Familiarity with SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), CaaS managed services methodologies.

Working knowledge of DevSecOps environments

Define DevOps GTM to accelerate business value realization.

Accountable for DevOps Workflows to deliver maximum workload automation, integration, and orchestration with minimum business interruptions within an agreed-upon operations budget.

Ensure the team have established business-approved cost and performance commitments, whilst overseeing the monitoring and operating DevOps Workflows meets the agreed standards and quality.

Working knowledge of automated service ops and AIOps.

Assist in pre-sales and build GTM activities to development and improve the business to increase ROI and reduce TCO.

Hands-on experience and knowledge across DevOps workflow components (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Microservices, Infrastructure as Code, Monitoring and Logging, Communication and Collaboration.)

Ability to produce DevOps and executive presentations
