As a Digital Content Manager to oversee our clients research project catalog, a canonical archive of all active research projects across the organization. You\xe2\x80\x99ll partner closely with the site managers for internal and external research websites and related business managers to ensure that the project catalog content is as current, accurate, and complete as possible, given that it serves as the source content powering multiple internal and external digital experiences.
Drive an initial audit/inventory of active projects to deliver the first cut of the project catalog as a foundational piece of a new internal research portal, designed to provide employees a better understanding of the research organization, its priorities, and how to connect with research teams
Develop and execute a periodic process to audit and update projects for each lab
Provide ad-hoc editorial support and counsel to research teams creating/updating project information
Work with editors on the internal portal and external website to ensure key project data is related to significant milestones and marketing priorities is posted in a timely manner
Use Web/SEO analytics to evaluate discoverability of research project content and develop recommendations on tagging and editorial guidelines
Partner with business management to deliver internal data and reporting, as needed by the business
QUALIFICATIONS
Expertise in digital editorial planning and strategy
Proven success creating editorial standards and governance systems for large content sets
Experience and comfort working with highly technical and/or academic content
Great organizational and planning skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to use web analytics to improve content and reader engagement
Experience working with structured data to drive efficiency and automate web experiences (nice to have)
Familiarity with Microsoft business and research (nice to have)
Success defining new web features with proven results (nice to have)
