- Bachelor of Engineering/Diploma with Min 2 to 5 years experience in relative field
- Previous experience working on Generators/Marine Engines.
- Ideally strong knowledge of generators such as Caterpillar/Cumins/Detroit/ Wartsila.
- Provide professional advice to shipping crew on board pertaining ship repair & trouble.
- Monitoring and participate in the maintenance operation of all vessel equipment and engine machineries.
- Arrange materials, spare facilities, subcontrator and supplier needed for project completion.
- Respond emergency work related repair and rescue operation when ship is under technical problem.
- Implement standard procedure for repair and parameters in trouble shooting.
- Able to use own initiative aswell as working as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Carry out fault finding and diagnosis to a range of generator sets/Marine Engines .
- Resolve electrical and mechanical engine problems.
- Should be able to replace mechanical components.
- Carry out basic engine servicing.
- Carry out site testing.
- Customer liaison, update and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to company health & safety standards procedures.
- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
