We are seeking a skilled
Diesel Mechanic
to perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, trucks, buses, and heavy equipment. The candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with engine, transmission, and brake systems.Key Responsibilities
Conduct maintenance and repair of diesel engines and heavy vehicles. Perform diagnostics on fuel systems, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and hydraulics. Inspect engine components, identify issues, and replace defective parts. Carry out preventive maintenance schedules. Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality. Maintain workshop tools and follow safety procedures. Document repair work and update service reports.
Requirements
5-6 years of relevant experience in diesel vehicle maintenance. Solid understanding of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Ability to operate diagnostic equipment. Physically fit and able to work in workshop environment. Knowledge of common heavy vehicle brands is an advantage. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
