Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy vehicles. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with diagnosing engine issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring vehicles operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and heavy vehicles. Perform routine maintenance and servicing of diesel trucks, buses, generators, and other equipment. Repair or replace faulty parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and fuel systems. Conduct engine overhauls and tune-ups to ensure optimal performance. Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot faults. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Keep records of maintenance and repair work.
Requirements:
Diploma or Certification in Automotive/Diesel Mechanics or a related field. Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair manuals. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physically fit to handle mechanical work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
