TGC (Reputed contracting company in Abu Dhabi) looking for Diesel Mechanic who inspects, diagnoses, and repairs diesel engines and related systems in heavy vehicles like trucks and buses, performing preventive maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements, as well as complex repairs on components like brakes, transmissions, and steering systems. Key responsibilities include using diagnostic tools, following safety procedures, maintaining service records, and ensuring vehicles meet performance and safety standardsKey ResponsibilitiesMaintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance like oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements. Diagnostics: Use computer-aided diagnostic tools and software to identify engine, electrical, and mechanical problems. Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, braking, steering, and other mechanical systems. Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles are functioning correctly and meet safety regulations. Parts Management: Order necessary parts for repairs and maintenance. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed inspection reports and service records. Safety: Adhere to strict safety procedures, wear appropriate protective gear, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Essential SkillsTechnical Proficiency: Expertise in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, as well as knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and braking systems.
