AUMS are looking for an experienced ITH/Cubex Drill Fitter with Underground experience who is wanting to join an established Team at our Operations in throughout Africa. Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, you will be required to work as a part of an experienced Team in managing the scheduled, preventative and breakdown maintenance of a small fleet of ITH/Cubex machines on site. ITH drill models range from 5200, 6200 and the latest Sandvik DU311. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems,
- Breakdown repairs and servicing of equipment,
- Ensure a safe workplace through daily inspections for hazards;
- Perform maintenance according company standards and work instructions;
- Maintain critical maintenance data on a daily basis;
- Be proactive in all preventative maintenance procedures to ensure quality repairs are maintained.
- Extensive experience working on underground machinery including makes such as Sandvik and Atlas Copco equipment;
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate;
- Ability to work autonomously/independently with limited supervision;
- Demonstrated abilities to work within a team environment;
- Previous experience working underground within the mining industry;
- Commitment to safety.
