We are looking for an experienced Dewatering Pump Mechanic to handle inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of dewatering pumps used at construction and pipeline project sites.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, repair, and overhaul of dewatering pumps.
Diagnose mechanical faults in pump engines, impellers, sealing systems, and hoses.
Conduct field service repairs at project sites when required.
Maintain service logs, checklists, and maintenance reports.
Follow all safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Inspect and service diesel engines used for pump operation.
Replace bearings, seals, hoses, and other pump components.
Coordinate with the workshop and site teams for equipment deployment.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a pump mechanic (preferably dewatering pumps).
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, centrifugal pumps, and suction/discharge systems.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues independently.
Experience with Wellpoint, Grundfos, Tsurumi, Sykes, or similar brands is an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure at project sites.
Basic communication skills in English or Hindi/Urdu.
