Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced

DevOps Engineer

with

10+ years of hands-on experience

in building, automating, and optimizing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines within

cloud-native environments

. This is a

100% remote opportunity

with one of our global clients.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of

infrastructure as code (IaC)

,

container orchestration

, and

continuous integration and deployment frameworks

. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure, improving system reliability, and enabling seamless, secure, and efficient software delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain

cloud-native infrastructure

using tools such as

Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes

. Develop, manage, and optimize

CI/CD pipelines

using

GitLab

,

Jenkins

, or similar platforms. Automate environment provisioning, configuration management, and deployments using

Ansible

and

Python/Shell scripting

. Collaborate closely with software development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure

scalable and secure deployments

. Implement

monitoring, alerting, and logging

solutions using tools like

Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack

. Ensure

infrastructure security and compliance

by automating audits and enforcing access control policies. Manage containerized workloads and microservices deployments in

Kubernetes

environments. Drive operational excellence by improving reliability, availability, and scalability of production systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and DevOps best practices across teams.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years

of experience in

DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering

roles. Proven expertise in

Kubernetes

,

Docker

, and

Helm

for container orchestration and management. Strong experience with

Terraform

and

Ansible

for infrastructure provisioning and automation. Hands-on experience with

CI/CD tools

such as

GitLab

,

Jenkins

, or

Azure DevOps

. Proficiency in

Python

and

Shell scripting

for automation and monitoring. Deep understanding of

Linux systems administration

,

networking

, and

system performance tuning

. Experience working with

cloud platforms

-- AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong knowledge of

monitoring tools

(Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and

version control systems (Git)

. Familiarity with

security best practices

, including secrets management, identity management, and compliance automation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in

AWS/Azure/GCP

,

CKA/CKAD

, or

Terraform Associate

are a plus. Experience with

service mesh technologies

(Istio, Linkerd) or

serverless computing

is advantageous. Understanding of

policy as code

tools (OPA, HashiCorp Sentinel) for compliance enforcement.
