About the role We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced and dynamic team at Invygo. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure and deployment processes that power our innovative car subscription platform. You will collaborate closely with the software development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of our software products. What you will be doing

• Design, implement, and maintain the overall cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS/GCP, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance development processes, streamline workflows, and improve overall system reliability.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and scaling.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
• Implement robust security practices, including access control, data encryption, and vulnerability assessments, to safeguard our platform and user data.
• Optimize system performance and resource utilization through continuous monitoring, analysis, and fine-tuning.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvements within the DevOps domain.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents in a timely manner to maintain high system availability.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate the automated deployment, testing, and monitoring of software applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role for 4+ years, with a strong track record of managing cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, or GCP, along with hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like Bash, Python, or similar.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
