:

Our client is a well-established retail and consumer data analytics and business intelligence organization specializing in solutions for demographic data collection, registration and queue management, RFID solutions, predictive analysis.

As part of their growth in the region, we are recruiting an experienced DevOps engineer with programming skills to join their Dubai head office.

Role Summary

• Design, develop and maintain architecture.

• Administer several databases.

• Conduct tests to identify and mitigate risks.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 6 - 10 years' experience in software development, programming and DevOps.

• Ability to take projects from ideation to fruition.

Backend technologies:

• Databases (at least one) - MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB

• API Standard (at least one) - REST API, GraphQL

• Frameworks (at least one) - NodeJS, ExpressJS, Django, Strapi, Loopback, OpenAPI, Directus

Frontend Technologies:

• Frameworks (at least one) - VueJS, React, Angular, Flutter (iOS, Android, Web), UI/UX experience

• Data integration with various ERP/CRM systems (at least one) - Python, C#

• Cloud Technologies (at least one) - AWS, Azure, Google Cloud

Containerization (at least one) - Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm

• BI Tools (familiar with at least one) - PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, Sisense

• Git (be familiar with)

• Apache Kafka

• MQTT (RabbitMQ etc.)

• Google Protobuf

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM field.

Candidate Profile

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates - must be able to live and work in Dubai.

• Fluent in English.

• Aged between 28 - 32 years.

• Strong in listening, team working, attention to detail, reasoning, problem solving and time management.

• Must be flexible with working hours - able to work weekends, public holidays and evenings to meet client and project deadlines.
