Job Description
DevOps Engineer Experience \xe2\x80\x93 10 Years
- Location: Abu Dhabi (Ready to work/relocate)
- Designing, provisioning, and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Configuring and maintaining virtualized environments, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architectures.
- Implementing and managing server configurations using configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Automating build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and error-free software delivery.
- Implementing and managing version control systems like Git and ensuring proper branching strategies are followed.
- Implementing monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, ELK Stack) to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Analyzing logs and metrics to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Scripting and Automation:
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.
- Developing and maintaining infrastructure and deployment automation scripts to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Conducting security audits, and vulnerability assessments, and implementing necessary security measures.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborating with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure smooth software delivery.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
