Job Title Devops Engineer

Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Job responsibilities:

• Drive the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of multiple parts of infrastructure and deployment systems, including the following areas: hardware, networking, security, performance, virtualization, authentication & monitoring
• Design, develop and modify automation processes for deploying large scale, enterprise grade applications
• Be an expert for the R&D Continuous Delivery processes during the software development life cycle
• Understanding of analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years experience as DevOps engineer
• Strong background in Operations and Agile Delivery while adopting Key DevOps traits such as streamlining and automating existing processes
• Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams
• Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways

Technical requirements:

• Experience in micro services architecture will be an advantage
• Experience with automated CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Deployment) tools and processes such as TeamCity, Gitlab, Jenkins or others with Docker
• Experience defining and managing infrastructure with code Ansible, Terraform, or similar in addition to excellent shell scripting skills such as Python

• Experience and understanding of virtualization technologies, specifically the VMware product line.

• Experience with ElasticSearch, Kibana, Logstash and Grafana for monitoring
• Network design experience, both virtualized and physical with QoS guarantees
