Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in agriculture (crop production, agri-inputs, agri-tech, value chain projects).
Build and manage relationships with farmers, suppliers, distributors, and government bodies.
Lead project proposals, feasibility studies, and funding applications (including grants or investors).
Oversee implementation of agricultural development projects, ensuring timelines and KPIs are met.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends.
Support sustainability initiatives and adoption of new technologies (precision farming, irrigation, etc.).
Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, sales) to align on strategy.
Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and stakeholder meetings.
