The Role
The Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the development of real estate projects - specifically residential towers and large-scale community developments in Dubai and extended UAE. This role involves managing the entire development process, from initial planning, feasibility, design to construction and completion. The Development Manager must have a thorough understanding of the local real estate market and regulations. Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Project Management: Oversee all aspects of the development process, including planning, feasibility studies, design, construction, and completion. Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources with the Project Manager/Director to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. \xe2\x80\xa2 Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential development opportunities and determine the feasibility of proposed projects. Stay up-to-date on market trends. \xe2\x80\xa2 Team Management: Lead a team of professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure successful project delivery. Provide guidance and support as required to team members and encourage a collaborative and efficient working environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Budget and Financial Management: Develop project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure projects stay within budget. Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, contractors, and suppliers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, such as investors, government agencies, and community members, to keep them informed about project progress and address any concerns or issues that may arise. \xe2\x80\xa2 Quality Control: Ensure that all projects meet high-quality standards and comply with local regulations and building codes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. Proactively address any issues that may impact project timelines or budgets. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes effectively and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate or similar related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on residential projects in the UAE/GCC. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong understanding of the local real estate market and regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering real estate projects on time and within budget. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent project management, leadership, and team management skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong financial and budget management skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
