We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Detailer/Draftsman with experience in metal structures to join our engineering or fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate fabrication and erection drawings for steel structures such as warehouses, industrial buildings, and pre-engineered metal systems.
Prepare detailed fabrication, assembly, and erection drawings for steel structures (beams, columns, trusses, purlins, bracings, etc.).
Develop shop drawings and bill of materials (BOM) based on structural and architectural drawings.
Use specialized software such as AutoCAD, Advance Steel, or similar for 2D modeling.
Coordinate closely with structural engineers and project managers to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies.
Review and interpret structural drawings, connection details, and general arrangement drawings.
Update and revise drawings based on redlines, site changes, and engineering markups.
Participate in project coordination meetings and provide support during fabrication and erection phases.
