Job Description

• Should have a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in IT or Communications.
• For UAE nationals, preferably with 3 to 6 years of work experience.
• For Non-UAE nationals, preferably 5 to 8 years of work experience.
• IT experience in Abu Dhabi Government entity.
• UI / UX design experience.
• Analyse business requirements and user feedback to design and develop interfaces for the presentation or publication of foresights and insights products; test interfaces; apply quality standards.
• Conduct research to identify standard user objectives, tasks and roles in using analytics products.
• Identify best practices in user experience analysis and packaging the findings of analysis for the use of data visualisers and content developers.
• Conduct surveys and interviews with users of foresights and insights products to prepare audience profiles and identify audience preferences and expectations for functional and non-functional features of products and dissemination channels / platforms.
• Analyse the results of surveys and interviews to generate quality standards and design parameters for data, statistics, displays, interactive features and narrative / commentary.
• Provide recommendations for screens, chart types, site maps and other functional and non-functional elements that affect user experience.
• Translate analysis into mockups, prototypes, wireframes and interaction diagrams.
• Document recommendations and mockups / concepts into functional and technical specifications.
• Work with front end developers to prepare sample interfaces; test prototypes against UI requirements and work out improvements.

• Contribute to project plans.
• Work with team members to ensure that project plans consider UI and UX objectives and requirements.
• Serve as point of contact for UI and UX in dissemination and design projects.
• Carry out work tasks, as instructed.

• Maintain own knowledge and develop expertise in UI and UX design and related domains.
