Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, experienced

Senior Designer

with a strong background in custom furniture design, production detailing, and on-site coordination. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of local UAE market requirements, woodworking techniques including

veneer and spray finishes

, and should be fluent in English to communicate effectively with installers and project stakeholders.

The designer must be hands-on and able to work independently on:

Full-cycle custom furniture workflow (from site measurement to installation) Preparing detailed production and installation documentation Collaborating closely with factory teams and installers for quality assurance Adhering to safety protocols in furniture production environments

Job Responsibilities (JR):

Visit client/project sites to perform precise measurement work Ensure all critical dimensions and site conditions are captured and recorded Translate initial design concepts into detailed manufacturing drawings Ensure designs align with actual site conditions and production capabilities Apply hands-on knowledge in

veneer, spray finishes

, and paneling work to support feasible and high-quality design solutions Recommend appropriate finishes and detailing methods for each project Prepare installers with complete project briefs including drawings, finish samples, and site instructions Clarify design intent and ensure installers fully understand execution details Visit installation sites to monitor execution and resolve design/technical issues in real-time Ensure installation quality matches approved designs and specifications Work closely with project managers, factory teams, and QC to ensure timely and accurate production Undergo training on company structure, workflows, and safety procedures Document all installation requirements, site issues, and as-built deviations Maintain clear records of design updates and site conditions for handover

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Minimum 7 years of experience in furniture design, including

UAE-specific project experience

Strong understanding of

custom furniture production

, finishes, and installation process Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or similar drafting software Fluency in

English

(written and spoken) for effective site and team communication Ability to work independently, proactively solve problems, and manage time efficiently Strong attention to detail and familiarity with

production safety protocols

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
