About the role Our team is growing in Oman and we are looking to hire Designers (Technicians) to support across Oil and Gas projects.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below: Prepare detail engineering drawings during all design phases including FEED, Detail design stages etc. Produce 3D model of all electrical works of the plant. Produce presentable and accurate drawings, including a consistency check and modification of existing drawing. Liaising with other disciplines to ensure designs are coordinated with other disciplines requirement. Full understanding of non-standard vendor documentation and its interface points with company engineering documents. Understand the company quality management system and ensure these requirements are met and implemented in projects. Preparation of detailed drawings and documents to the requirement of the engineer. Prepare and check all critical engineering deliverables like SLDs, Metering and protection drawings, equipment layout, cable trench and cable routing layout, earthing layout, lightning protection, lighting layouts and Material calculations (MTO) etc

Candidate Specification

Engineering diploma in Electrical Engineering with experience in consultancy background preferably in the field of Oil and gas engineering Extensive experience in detail design of oil and gas facilities and electrical substation. Extensive knowledge in drafting works of electrical system for oil and gas facilities and electrical substation Proficient in 2D drafting software alike AutoCAD etc. Experience in Bentley MicroStation will be added advantage. Proficient in 3D software like PDMS, E3D etc. Experience in Revit etc. will be added advantages. Proficient in use of Autodesk Navisworks or similar software for review
