Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Design Tool Admin to be based in Dubai office. Successful candidate will be responsible for below duties and responsibilities;

• Executing assigned scopes of work.
• The candidate will carry out assigned Smartplant application related work as part of a multi-discipline project team.
• Providing discipline support to the business.
• Demonstrate understanding of process and work to discipline specific procedures.
• Technically competent in application discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development.
• Implementation and support of Engineering applications.
• Assisting with development and customisation of system deliverables such as drawings/reports, based on project requirements.
• Liaison with business customers to analyse and deliver system requirements.
• Assisting in problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Development of systems procedures and work instructions based upon best practice.
• Functional requirement specification (FRS) for the proposed solution.
• Monitoring of system performance to ensure the smooth operation of deployed systems.
• Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
• Plan and implement workflows that meet customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs.
• Ability to communicate with customer, understands the business requirements, and converts the business requirements into technical requirements.

Skills / Qualifications

• Demonstrate a basic level of competence in the application of standards, processes, and procedures and how they are used in work execution.
• Should have knowledge of database.
• Competent in own discipline to provide support to the business.
• Demonstrate current knowledge with industry and technology development within discipline.
• Demonstrate continual professional development.
• Good communicator with willingness to share knowledge and support others.
• Ability to multi-task, solve problems and think strategically.
