Role overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced event and experience design manager to lead the design and execution of luxury weddings and corporate events.

The successful candidate will possess strong creative leadership and the technical expertise necessary to oversee all aspects of event preparation. This includes in-depth knowledge of weight calculations, material usage and other critical factors that contribute to the structural and aesthetic success of each project.

The ability to work efficiently under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances and ensure on-time project delivery is essential.

Key responsibilities:

manage the creative team in developing concepts and designs for weddings and corporate events oversee the entire event design process, from initial brainstorming to final production and on-site execution select/source materials and products for event designs, ensuring the highest quality and functionality collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate it into innovative, impactful design solutions work closely with production teams to ensure that all technical elements, materials and design aspects are aligned solve technical challenges during the execution phase, making adjustments where needed to maintain quality and design integrity ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to, while meeting or exceeding client expectations develop visual presentations, including sketches, 2D/3D renderings and material boards to clearly communicate design concepts. value-engineer projects by optimising costs without compromising design standards supervise on-site installations to ensure that all design elements are properly implemented and meet the desired aesthetic maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution

Key qualifications:

bachelor's degree in event management, design, architecture or a related field three to five years of experience in event and wedding design, with a strong track record in both sectors expertise in materials and product selection for event design, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality strong project management and team leadership skills, with experience managing creative teams and production processes proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp or equivalent tools understanding of event production and technical elements like lighting, sound, set design and logistics strong communication and client-handling skills, with the ability to present ideas and solutions clearly ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions during event execution to ensure successful outcomes experience managing project budgets and timelines, with a focus on delivering cost-effective yet high-quality solutions a keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-tier design outcomes a strong portfolio showcasing event designs for both weddings and corporate events strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality design outcomes a portfolio demonstrating event design experience with a focus on both creative and technical execution
