Responsibilities

Lead and manage the MEP design process from concept to construction stages.
Review and validate design documents submitted by consultants and contractors (drawings, specifications, BOQs).
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, local authorities).
Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural elements to avoid clashes.
Liaise with internal departments (e.g., architecture, structure, procurement) and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, authorities).
Manage design deliverables schedule to align with overall project timeline.
Conduct value engineering and ensure cost-effective design solutions.
Provide technical input during tendering and construction phases.
Support site team during implementation, including responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and resolving technical issues.
