Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and creative leadership across multiple design projects and platforms
• Lead, manage, and mentor multidisciplinary design teams, fostering professional growth and performance excellence
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate design solutions with overall project objectives
• Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality
• Oversee the full design lifecycle from concept development through delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
• Present design concepts, narratives, and solutions to clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership
• Apply design thinking methodologies to solve complex challenges and drive innovation
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and project requirements
• Contribute to business development activities including client pitches, proposals, and design strategies
• Stay current with global and regional design trends, tools, and technologies relevant to the UAE and Middle East

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline such as graphic design, industrial design, or similar
• Master's degree is preferred
• Minimum 10 years of professional design experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence across multiple design disciplines
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma
• Solid understanding of UX and UI design principles and their application
• Proven experience managing complex design projects in multicultural environments
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with design preferences and cultural context of the UAE and Middle Eastern markets
