Our client, a reputed consultancy firm in Qatar, is seeking a qualified
Design Infrastructure Engineer
to lead infrastructure design projects and provide technical expertise across multidisciplinary teams. The role requires a professional with solid design experience in roads, drainage, utilities, and site development, capable of managing projects to high technical and quality standards.Key Responsibilities
Lead the design of infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, utilities, and site development. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams. Review and approve design drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project progress. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Conduct risk assessments and propose effective solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering. Strong knowledge of engineering software such as SewerCAD, WaterCAD, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, Civil 3D, etc. Familiarity with local codes, international standards, and permitting processes. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
